UCI and the Seasucker team carrier

The International Cycling Union (UCI) and SeaSucker have become partners for the next 3 years of the UCI World Road Cycling Championships.

SeaSucker will be the official supplier of team media for this year’s edition in Bergen (2017), and the next two events in Innsbruck (2018) and Yorkshire (2019).

Seasucker carriers are manufactured by the company of the same name based in Florida. The name itself is synonymous with sea squid, or more precisely for its sucker-covered shoulders. And on the other hand, this system of vacuum suction cups creates a surprisingly simple, intuitive and at the same time incredibly durable attachment directly to the car body.

SeaSucker team carriers will take away 9 bicycles. They are specially designed for the UCI and each carrier can be folded into a compact case, which allows them to be transported to individual events. They are also much lighter than currently used products.

CEO and owner of SeaSucker LLC., Chuck Casagrande, says: “In recent years, our products in this segment have changed the picture of the game, and it’s amazing. I’m looking forward to being at this level and being a partner at such a major sporting event.”
